Ash’s Story

Real Customers, Real Lives

Every so often, you meet someone whose presence lingers long after the conversation ends.

Ash Taylor is one of those people.

We first met Ash entirely by chance - Nick and Angus bumped into him at a Wingback event in London. Within minutes, it was clear there was something special about him: warm, charismatic, thoughtful, and quietly wise. Someone who has lived, worked, struggled, rebuilt, and continues to show up with generosity and humour.

A few days later, we asked if he’d let us film him.

He said yes.

This is his story.

Who is Ash Taylor?

Ash wears many hats — and wears them well.

  • Tennis coach
  • Business coach
  • Husband and father
  • A man who’s gone through a lot and come out kinder, not harder
  • Dog person
  • Other stuff

He speaks openly about the tough parts of life: dealing with pressure, navigating self-doubt, rebuilding confidence, and understanding what really matters.

He also talks about his recovery from near suicide.

There's also joy.

His story isn’t polished. It’s real.

A Conversation That Stayed With Us

The longer we spent with Ash, the more we realised his story wasn’t simply about work or success. It’s about resilience.

About finding purpose through helping others.

Ash has a gift for articulating thoughts that most people keep buried. He can be totally calm one moment, then come out with something so sharp and honest that it stops you in your tracks.

But with a light touch.

He talks about the weight men carry - the responsibility, the expectations, the quiet internal battles. And how strength isn’t in pretending, but in allowing yourself to be human.

The Jacket

Ash is wearing a new Quilted Harrington Racer Jacket. The first person to wear one outside of FRAHM,. and the treat we promised him!

No styling. No direction. Worn as he prefers. (He owns other Harrington Racer Jackets)
